B4Y Designer · Build 4 You Solutions LLC · Last updated August 31, 2026
B4Y Designer is a kitchen & bath design tool built and operated by
Build 4 You Solutions LLC ("we," "us," "our business"). This page explains,
in plain language, what information the app stores, where it lives, who
can see it, and how you can have it deleted.
What we store
When you create an account and use B4Y Designer, we store:
Your account information — your name, email address, and role (owner, designer, trade partner, or customer).
Your projects — the kitchen/bath designs you create: room layouts, cabinet placements, finishes, pricing, and notes attached to a job.
Customer contact information inside a project — the name, address, email, and phone number of the homeowner a project is for, entered by the designer working the job.
Activity records — a log of who changed what and when on a project (for example, "pushed a change," "approved a design," "signed a document"), so a job's history can be reviewed later.
E-signature records — when a customer signs a contract through the app, we store a record of that signature (who signed, when, and the signed document) as part of the project.
Trade partner photos — job-site photos a subcontractor uploads through their own private link, attached to the relevant project.
We do not ask for or store payment card details or government ID.
If you start a kitchen questionnaire
When you answer our "Plan your kitchen" questions on our website or app, we store
what you send: your name, phone, email, the kitchen's address, the best time to
call, and your answers about your kitchen. We use it only to contact you about your
project and to design your kitchen.
Your answers go to Build 4 You only. Your kitchen page link shows your first name and
nothing else about you — not your phone, email or address.
To stop automated spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a robot check. It looks
at basic browser signals for that one check; we don't receive or store them.
If we don't start a project with you within 90 days, your answers are deleted
automatically. You can ask us to delete them sooner by emailing
info@build4yousolutions.com.
Where your data lives
Your account, projects, activity records, and everything listed above are
stored on infrastructure in our own Cloudflare account — specifically
Cloudflare D1 (a database) and Cloudflare R2 (file storage) for larger
files such as shared project snapshots. We do not use a third-party data
broker or analytics network to process this information.
A copy of your own projects is also kept on the device(s) you use the
app on (your computer, tablet, or phone), so the app keeps working while
you're offline.
Two outside services help the app do its job, and each only sees what it
needs to do that one job:
Google Drive (optional) — if a business owner connects Google Drive from Settings, project files are also backed up to that owner's own Google Drive account. That connection and the files it creates belong to the owner, not to us — we don't keep a separate copy of what's in Drive beyond what's already in our own Cloudflare storage.
Resend (email delivery) — when the app sends a notification email (for example, letting a designer know a customer approved or signed a design), that email is delivered through Resend, a transactional email service. Resend sees the recipient's address and the message content needed to deliver that one email, and nothing else about your account or projects.
Who can see it
Only people you or your business owner have invited to your B4Y Sync account (as owner, designer, trade partner, or customer) can see the projects and information their role gives them access to.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or other outside businesses. Google Drive and Resend, described above, are service providers that help the app function — they are not given access to sell or advertise with your data.
A customer can view their own project through a private, view-only link their designer sends them — that link does not require creating an account, and it shows only that one project.
A trade partner (subcontractor) can see only the job details their scope of work requires.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and project information for as long as your
account exists, or until you ask us to delete it. Detailed version
history for a project ("who changed what, and when") is kept for a
while to support undo and audit needs, and is automatically thinned out
over time under a standard retention policy — recent history is kept in
full; very old, superseded versions are eventually cleared to keep
things running smoothly. Deleting a project or your account (see below)
is not affected by this — deletion happens right away, not on a timer.
Your right to delete your account
You can permanently delete your account, in the app, at any time:
Open Settings ▸ Data and use Delete my account (or, for the person who owns the account when no one else has an active account, Delete account & ALL data).
Deleting your account removes your name and email from our systems — including from your own past activity history, invitations, and anywhere else it might have been recorded. Past activity records stay attached to the projects they belong to (so a job's history stays intact for the business), but they're relabeled to show a deleted account, not your name. A browser tab or offline copy that was already open before you deleted your account may take a little while to catch up; no new copy of your name or email is served to anyone after deletion.
If you are the last remaining owner of a B4Y Sync account, deleting your account deletes the entire account's data — every project, every version, every activity record — because there would be no one left to own it. The app requires you to confirm this specifically before it happens.
Deleting your account from our servers does not remove the copy of your own projects already saved on your own device, or (if it was ever connected) in your own Google Drive — those copies are yours and stay under your control.
You can also request deletion by emailing us (see Contact, below) if you can't access the app for any reason.
Cookies & local storage
B4Y Designer does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The app uses
your browser's local storage only to run the app itself — keeping your
saved projects available offline, remembering your sign-in session, and
remembering app preferences like which screen you last had open. Nothing
stored this way is sent to advertisers or analytics companies.
